Strength, Injury Rehabilitation & Osteopathy
Pain and discomfort isn't normal - take action
We blend manual medicine and exercise rehabilitation to focus on the health of the whole body, not just the injury or area of pain.
Our allied health professionals focus their treatments on the neuro-musculoskeletal system which helps to treat sport injuries, back pain, nervous pain, headaches, tennis elbow, joint and muscle sprains among other health other concerns.
By using an array of orthopaedic and functional tests we can help diagnose your specific injury then address your concern using a combination of manual techniques such as deep tissue massage, mobilisations, exercise prescription, HVLA (high velocity low amplitude manipulation), dry needling and cupping to help facilitate healing within the body’s musculoskeletal system.
Individualised rehabilitation plans will be developed when necessary to ensure your recovery is bespoke, specific and suited to your personal or athletic goals.
Therapies are in part covered by most private health funds

HVLA
Manipulations
Rapid, targeted, therapeutic applied force
HVLA manipulations (or high velocity, low amplitude manipulations) are gentle, safe and effective joint manipulations that are designed to restore the normal movement to any joint in the body that is stuck or not moving properly.
HVLA employs a rapid, targeted, therapeutic force applied to a joint to engage the restrictive barrier and elicit a release to the restriction.
Often, the release of the restriction can be accompanied by a 'popping' or 'cracking' sound which is a release of gas bubbles from fluid in the joint.
Neuro-Musculoskeletal Therapy
Extensive, targeted and specific treatment
Osteopaths conduct comprehensive physical examinations and can treat an extremely broad range of health conditions.
'Neuro-musculoskeletal therapy' is a broad term given to the treatment of these conditions, most commonly neck and back pain but also hip, shoulder and limb pain, fibromyalgia, radicular pain and other neuropathic pain conditions, such as, joint pain, headaches, and migraines, postural disorders and degrative spine conditions among many other chronic or persistent pain issues.
